We are looking for a Mid to Senior Designer with the potential to step up to Lead Designer/Head of Craft, and with an awesome can do attitude. You have 5 to 8 years’ experience, preferably from within an advertising agency environment.
You understand the importance of collaboration when working in close partnership with Art Directors, Strategists and other Designers, across the board: traditional to social, digital and content. It’s important that you love creativity and the opportunities new ideas and technologies provide. Change is something you thrive on, and you are calm under the pressure of deadlines. No task is too big. Actually, the bigger the task the bigger the challenge. And you’re excited by delivering what others thought might not be possible. You have an exceptional eye for detail and care about craft and modern, cut through design.
Responsible for the conceptual and stylistic execution of campaigns in collaboration with Junior Designers, you’ll be working on all design solutions, including: web, interactive, social, tablet and mobile. You are confident with concepts and designs that are achievable against usability best practices and cross browser compatibility, and that web, mobile or app designs are technically feasible. You enjoy the process of seeing creative through from start to finish. Detail oriented, motivated and inspiring, you love what you do and thrive when sharing your skills and knowledge. You’re curious about new technology and remain at the forefront of trends.
What we’d expect is that you’re completely competent with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe/Sketch/Invision, with a beautiful design aesthetic for typography, colour, form and symmetry. Not to mention excellent communication skills and great presentation skills.
