1. What are you most excited about that’s happening in the industry today?
The gradual realisation by clients that we aren’t just here to fill media schedules. That creative thinking applied to any business problem can be genuinely transformational for a company.
2. And if you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be?
The industry wide angst and negativity regarding the changes in how people consume/view/interact with what we create. If getting to your audience is becoming harder, surely then the thinking just needs to be better.
3. What is your favourite ad of all time and why?
Nike. Find Your Greatness. Even now, a couple years later, it still feels brave. Take sportswear behemoth Nike, and shift from big name athletes to focus on the everyday. And, to do it as elegantly and as understated as this - huge achievement.
