Three Questions For... Tom Hoskins

What inspires you?

For me, creativity is inspired by experiences and the environment around us. But it’s worth remembering originality is inspired by the ability to completely rewire the scene.

What do you look for in a Creative’s book?

I look for simplicity, curiosity and an emotional intelligence within the ideas. (I listen for the ability to put the landing gear down on them.)

What does Creativity mean to you?

While it can be infuriatingly hard, Creativity has a surprisingly simple premise; being able to construct an expression or thought that creates some form of value. It’s when you combine it with ambition, envy and a sense-of-humour that things get really interesting.
